This is not just my work. This is my calling.

I was born into a legacy of service. My parents were missionaries in Liberia for 38 years. I was raised on faith, love, and the conviction that we are called to speak truth and seek justice. I am not religious in the traditional sense, but I know this work, the work of exposing harm and reimagining something better, is God’s work. It has been placed on my heart. And I will see change in my lifetime.

My Mission

To expose the lies of the current family policing system, a system that operates on fear, separation, and surveillance. And to replace it with one that reflects truth and justice.

Love over punishment.

Healing over harm.

Restoration over destruction

My mission is to challenge the false ideology that has been used to justify systems of oppression, from slavery to the modern child welfare system. I speak especially to those of faith, particularly those who claim to follow Jesus, yet remain silent as families, especially Black families, are torn apart by government-sanctioned trauma.

To whom much is given, much is required.” (Luke 12:48)

Our government holds immense power, funding, and authority. And yet, it operates with far less accountability than the very families it targets. That is not justice. That is not love. That is not of God.

My Vision

I envision a new system: one that honors families as sacred, not disposable. A system that:

  • Centers Biblical principles of truth, justice, grace, healing, and restoration.

  • Uses science, not fear, to guide decisions - especially the science of bonding and attachment.

  • Tells the truth about the legacy of slavery, systemic racism, and the deep wounds caused by decades of discriminatory policies.

  • Treats all people as equally valuable, because we are all created in the image of God.

  • Supports families, rather than punishing them for experiencing poverty or trauma.

  • Recognizes that children are gifts from God, entrusted to families, not to the state.

  • Builds structures of accountability not just for individuals, but for the systems that fail to serve.

This work is for the ones who study the Bible and dare to live it.
For parents, advocates, educators, skeptics and seekers. For those who are tired of watching the name of Jesus being twisted to uphold systems of control and white supremacy. For those who believe faith without works is dead. For those who believe we are called to love mercy, do justice, and walk humbly with our God (Micah 6:8).

Join me.

Let’s reimagine the future of child welfare. Let’s build a system rooted in truth, grace, healing, and restoration.

Let’s create a society that honors the dignity of every child, every parent, and every family.

Let’s speak the truth, love boldly, and build something just.

One step at a time. In faith. In truth. Together.
